2021: A Year Dripping with Anointing

Isaiah 61:1-2 AMPC

1 “THE SPIRIT of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed and qualified me to preach the Gospel of good tidings to the meek, the poor, and the afflicted; (LISTEN YOU DONT HAVE TO SPEAK WORDS TO PREACH - YOUR ACTIONS - THE WAY YOU LIVE SPEAK MUCH LOUDER THEN WORDS) He has sent me to bind up and heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the [physical and spiritual] captives and the opening of the prison and of the eyes to those who are bound. 2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord [the year of His favor] and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn,”

LIKE QUEEN ESTHER - YOU ARE ANOINTED FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS

1 John 2:27 AMPC

“But as for you, the anointing which you received from Him abides [permanently] in you; [so] then you have no need that anyone should instruct you. But just as His anointing teaches you concerning everything and is true and is no falsehood, (THE ANOINTING WILL HELP YOU DISCERN THE TRUTH) so you must abide in (live in, never depart from) Him [being rooted in Him, knit to Him], just as [His anointing] has taught you [to do].”

Maybe you’ve thought that only certain people in ministry are anointed?

Maybe you’ve only considered that the O.T. prophets and the N.T. apostles were the only ones anointed.

No matter what you have or haven’t thought about the anointing of God, if you are a Christian, then you have received an anointing.

It’s this anointing that opens your mind, teaches you, guides you, calls you to pray, empowers you, and enables you to be a stronger more powerful person.

It’s this anointing that helps you do what the Lord has destined you to do.

You are anointed with this burden removing and yoke breaking power of God. The anointing is what empowers a man or a woman to function supernaturally. The anointing is what enables you to do supernatural things.

I believe there is an EPHRAIM anointing being released upon the church this year.

This anointing refers to fruitfulness, multiplication and possession of the land. It refers to financial prosperity and being blessed with abundance in the natural. It can also refer to an apostolic anointing to take hold of the land (whether that be business, ministry or geographical), as a representative of God in the same way that Joshua who was the leader of the tribe Ephraim led the Israelites to take possession of the promised land.

David describes the anointing in Psalms 133:2 NKJV “It is like the precious oil upon the head, Running down on the beard, The beard of Aaron, Running down on the edge of his garments.”

Remember he had firsthand knowledge when Samuel poured the horn of anointing oil on him.

THIS YEAR THERE WILL BE SO MANY NEW DOORS AND NEW OPPORTUNITIES OPEN TO US

The Lord showed me a vision were one door closed but ten others opened up!

Alexander Graham Bell said, “When one door closes, another opens; but we often look so long and so regretfully upon the closed door that we do not see the one which has opened for us.’”

God is releasing new strategies, new witty inventive ideas, out of the box thinking, new businesses and new ways to do business. If one door slams in your face ten others will begin to open up, just wait and watch for the Lords leading.

THE LORD WANTS TO TABERNACLE / DWELL WITH US

Revelation 21:3-5 NKJV

3 “And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. 4 And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.” 5 Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” And He said to me, “Write, for these words are true and faithful.””

Zechariah 14:16 ESV

[16] Then everyone who survives of all the nations that have come against Jerusalem shall go up year after year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the Feast of Tabernacles.

The Feast of Tabernacles is also called the Feast of Sukkot which means “shelters”, “booths”, or “tabernacles”.

During this feast they remember how God instructed his people to set out and go into the wilderness in temporary shelters, picking up and moving on as the Lord directed, and how He provided for them over the forty years.

The Feast of Tabernacles is also a prophetic feast that looks to the future age as Revelation 21 mentions. The Feast of Tabernacles is at the centre of God’s future kingdom on earth where all nations will worship him (Zachariah 14:16).

It points towards a time when God will again tabernacle on earth, when Jesus comes and restores all things.

It is evident that a figurative meaning must here be applied. Every day of a Christian's life is a day of the Feast of Tabernacles. Remember, when we draw close to Him He draws close to us.

The Feast of Tabernacles was celebrated in the seventh month, it lasted for seven days, and it ended on the 21st day of that month (3 x 7).  In the Bible the number 7 speaks of completion and perfection.

It speaks of the end.

Now 2021 is not the end but we are definitely in END TIMES.

PRAISE FOR SEVEN DAYS!

The Lord gave me a strategy for dealing with our enemy and giving the Lord praise at the same time. What is it that your dealing with right now that you just can’t seem to shake?

Psalm 27:6

And now my head shall be lifted up above my enemies all around me; Therefore I will offer sacrifices of joy in His tabernacle; I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the Lord.”

Praise, get happy, laugh, have fun, focus on God for seven days and whatever that problem was you will be able to conquer it. I found out there are seven types of praise and the one that suits this is called ‘halal’. The word “Hallelujah” comes from it. It means boast, brag, or rave about God even to the point of appearing foolish. It is the most common word for praise. It would relate to you when your at your favorite sports game screaming and carrying on.

Look at Paul and Silas (Acts 16) arrested, flogged and in prison, then at midnight they prayed and sang praises to God (obviously not Halal praises). What happened next was incredible! There was an earthquake which flung every prison cell door open and miraculously every prisoner’s chains were broken off nothing was holding them any longer. Good for the prisoners but not for the prison warden who was about to commit suicide until Paul and Silas spoke to him and lead him and his entire family to the Lord.

A YEAR OF EXCEPTIONAL GROWTH (unusual / extraordinary)

Ecclesiastes Ch 3 says there is a season for everything under heaven.

I believe we’re in a GROWING SEASON, a huge GROWTH SPURT, right now.

My Jasmin is growing 2 inches every day!

Jeremiah 1:11-12 NKJV

11 “Moreover the word of the LORD came to me, saying, “Jeremiah, what do you see?” And I said, “I see a branch of an almond tree.” 12 Then the LORD said to me, “You have seen well, for I am ready to perform My word.””

The almond trees were the first of all the food type trees to produce. It represents Awakening and Resurrection it also means to be Watchful. I believe the Lord is asking us what are we seeing in this season? If we are seeing awakening and resurrection that’s pointing towards Revival then I believe we have seen well for the Lord is about to perform his word. WOW!!

Numbers 17 Arron's Rod bloomed, then budded and then produced almonds overnight.

That was just a dead stick so how much more can God do with YOU a real live person.

That’s not just a quick work that the Lord can do, that’s MIRACULOUS!

Colossians 1:9-14 AMPC   Paul ....

“For this reason we also, from the day we heard of it, have not ceased to pray and make [special] request for you, [asking] that you may be filled with the full (deep and clear) knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom [in comprehensive insight into the ways and purposes of God] and in understanding and discernment of spiritual things– That you may walk (live and conduct yourselves) in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to Him and desiring to please Him in all things, bearing fruit in every good work and steadily growing and increasing in and by the knowledge of God [with fuller, deeper, and clearer insight, intimacy, and recognition]. [We pray] that you may be invigorated and strengthened with all power according to the might of His glory, [to exercise] every kind of endurance and patience (perseverance and forbearance) with joy, Giving thanks to the Father, Who has qualified and made us fit to share the portion which is the inheritance of the saints (God's holy people) in the Light. [The Father] has delivered and drawn us to Himself out of the control and the dominion of darkness and has transferred/translated us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, In Whom we have our redemption through His blood, [which means] the forgiveness of our sins.”

RESET - TO BECOME ‘SET’ AGAIN

When I was young, we traveled around Queensland and New South Wales and at the thirteen different primary schools I went to they would always see if you could beat the fastest kid.

At the start of the race they would always say..... Ready       set        go.

“Ready” means to prepare yourself,

“Set” means to position yourself, and

“Go” means to start moving.

It doesn’t even matter if you’ve had a false start because if that happens you get to be reset, set again. God is resetting you back in the race.

He is resetting the race. He is resetting the time.

2019 got us ready and prepared

2020 got us set and positioned (Even if you had a false start last year it’s ok you’ve been reset and you’re back in the race).

2021 gets us moving ahead. We’re off and running!

Some other ‘re” words the Lord gave me for this year......

RESURGENCE - the act of rising again and returning, it also means revival.

REALIGNED - to adjust and bring back into alignment.

RESTORED - to bring back and return whatever has been taken away or lost. To make restitution for loss, damage or injury.

REFRESHED - to make fresh again or to reinvigorate.

REFOCUSED - to readjust our focus (What are we looking at?)

REENERGIZED - to receive energy again, to rouse into activity.

REVIVAL - an awakening, in a church and/or community.

We are in a state of REVIVISCENCE - that means we’re in the act or state of being REVIVED - REVIVAL!!

RENEW your mind and your ways as you read God's Word.

Prov. 4:20-23

"My son, attend to my words; incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your eyes; keep them in the midst of your heart; for they are life to those who find them, and health to all their body. Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it are the issues of life"

GOD WANTS TO RESTORE YOUR SOUL

Let’s face it COVID-19 has really messed us around and there’s so many things we can’t do now that we used to be able to do.

Our soul is a makeup of our mind, our will and our emotions and they’ve all taken a bit of a hit over the last year. Our soul needs to be restored!

Psalms 23-3 says, "He restores my soul."

What does it mean? How can our souls be restored? The focus is on God's work in our lives. We cannot restore ourselves, but we can and must allow God to restore us.

The context of Psalms 23 is one in which David recognizes God as his shepherd or his caretaker. Because God watches over him, he does not find himself in need of anything. All of his needs are met. He can rest in green pastures and beside still waters (v. 2). His paths are righteousness (v. 3), even though he walks through the valley of the shadow of death (v. 4) David can still rest.

The last part of Psalms 23 shifts to a different scenario, one in which David sits at a table among his enemies, like at a royal banquet. Here we see David has no fear of his enemies, he’s anointed (set apart to do Gods will), and his cup overflows (meaning he has plenty). He feels blessed with goodness and mercy and will live in God's house forever.

How awesome is that!

A look at the entire Psalm 23 provides three principles for "restoring our soul." These include rest, refocusing, and being re-energized.

Let’s look at Rest.

David appears to be at rest when he composed this Psalm. This was not a song to prepare for battle or celebrate a holy day, but rather to enjoy a time of relaxation and rest in God's presence.

Rather like the song I composed this summer “I love you Lord, I sit here on my daybed with you watching my cool refreshing pool, even though my enemies the mosquitoes surround me I shall not fear for I have bought thou magnificent bug zapper from thy holy store - Bunnings”.  Haha

Let’s look at Refocusing.

Restoration always involves refocusing. Somehow, sometimes we take our focus off of God and put it on other things that are attracting our attention. David’s soul was restored as he looked at life from God's perspective. He felt protected, safe, and secure under the leadership of God. Lets get our focus back on God, like Joshua of old had to do because he’d never been that way before.

Lastly let’s look at Reenergize.

Restoration always includes reenergizing. Both rest and refocus led to a renewed vigor to live for God. This reenergizing also included an anticipation to be with God forever in the future (v. 6).

With this perspective on life, David could live with a restored soul, prepared for the problems of the day. He knew God was with him, cared for him, and would never leave his side. There was no battle too big for him to face with God in his life.

The same is true in our own lives. If we wish to see God restore our soul, we need to make time to rest, refocus, and reenergize. We can’t expect to live with a fresh sense of God's presence in our lives if we constantly rush from one issue to the next. To be restored takes time, refocusing on God and His greatness, to renew us with hope and joy and great anticipation for what He’s got ahead.

YOUR COMEBACK WILL ALWAYS BE GREATER THEN YOUR SETBACK!!

Joseph had a few setbacks, he was the favored child with his special coat of many colours then he had a minor setback, his brothers hated him and threw him in a pit, then they sold him to some foreign travelers and told their dad Joseph was dead a wild animal got him. Then he was going great guns looking after all of Potiphar’s estate then he had another setback, he was falsely accused of doing something to Potiphar’s wife and thrown into jail. Years go by seemingly forgotten about until he interprets a few dreams and finds favour with Pharaoh who gives him a position second only to him over all his kingdom. He is then in position to look after his entire family and settle them in the land of Goshen where they were truly blessed. THIS WAS HIS COMEBACK!

Doesn’t matter what has set you back over the past few years God is working on your comeback and it’s going to be huge.

I heard the Lord say “You are RESILIENT” (another ‘re’ word).

Then He showed me these two verses...

2 Corinthians 4:8-9 NIV

8 “We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; 9 persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed.”

Resilience means to be able to withstand or recover quickly from difficult conditions.

Resilience is the psychological quality that allows some people to be knocked down by the adversities of life and come back stronger than before. Rather than letting difficulties, traumatic events, or failure overcome them and drain their resolve. Resilient people get back up, find a way to change course, emotionally heal, and continue moving toward their goals.

WHEN THE ENENY COMES IN LIKE A FLOOD GOD ALWAYS HAS AN ANSWER

Isaiah 59:19-21 KJV

[19] So shall they fear the name of the Lord from the west, and His glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him.

[20] And the Redeemer shall come to Zion, and unto them that turn from transgression in Jacob, saith the Lord. [21] As for me, this is my covenant with them, saith the Lord; My spirit that is upon thee, and my words which I have put in thy mouth, shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy seed, nor out of the mouth of thy seed's seed, saith the Lord , from henceforth and for ever.

A standard was an old English word that was used in battle when a standard or flag was raised; it was the signal for all the troops to rally at that point. The Hebrew word “Nuwc” means to fly (to the attack) on horseback, to chase. I like that! No retreating! It’s like David running towards Goliath prophesying his death.

This year God is raising up a standard, a rallying point to fly after the enemy are you up for it? Let’s run to the battle!

CONCERNING YOUR PROPHECIES FOR THIS YEAR?

1 Timothy 1:18, NiV:

"Timothy, my son, I am giving you this command in keeping with the prophecies once made about you, so that by recalling them you may fight the battle well (wage a good warfare),"

I’ve underlined three key words in this scripture. The first word is ‘command’ that’s not if you feel like it or “yeah some day I might”, it’s a command. Second word is ‘recalling’ the prophecies,

that means to hear it again, read it again, get it off the shelf or out of the drawer or out of cyberspace and go over it again and again.  Third word is ‘fight’, it doesn’t mean to pick a fight with the one who gave you the prophecy, it means by hearing them and speaking them out, that is an act of spiritual warfare. Paul says that’s a good warfare to engage. So guess what you’ve been commanded to do this year?

I pray Romans 9-28 over you....

That the Lord will finish what He started because He’s doing a quick work upon the earth.

This following scripture also came to me about the prophetic promises over your life and if Gods eyes are continually on them so should ours.

Deuteronomy 11:10-14 AMPC

10 “For the land which you go in to possess is not like the land of Egypt, from which you came out, where you sowed your seed and watered it with your foot laboriously as in a garden of vegetables. 11 But the land which you enter to possess is a land of hills and valleys which drinks water of the rain of the heavens, 12 A land for which the Lord your God cares; the eyes of the Lord your God are always upon it from the beginning of the year to the end of the year. 13 And if you will diligently heed My commandments which I command you this day–to love the Lord your God and to serve Him with all your [mind and] heart and with your entire being–

14 I will give the rain for your land in it’s season, the early rain and the latter rain, that you may gather in your grain, your new wine, and your oil.”

IT’S A YEAR TO TUNE OUR EAR - TO HIM

I heard the Lord say “Your ears will hear what your eyes cannot see.”

I thought whenever I stopped from my busyness the Lord would speak to me until I realised that He’s always speaking to me and at any time I could listen to what He’s telling me.

Hearing is one of the three main ways the Lord communicates to us (sensing and seeing being the other two).

The Lord loved to have quality time with Adam as he walked through the garden in the cool of the evening talking with him.

David asked the Lord for battle strategies all the time.

Saul heard a voice on the day of his conversion.

I Samuel 3:10 NKJV

“Now the LORD came and stood and called as at other times, “Samuel! Samuel!” And Samuel answered, “Speak, for Your servant hears.””

Make that your decree this year “Speak Lord for your servant hears.”

ONE THING THE LORD SAID TO LOOK OUT FOR THIS YEAR IS ‘DISCORD’.

The dictionary states discord this way - strife, conflict, contention, dissension and variance which means a state or condition marked by a lack of agreement or harmony. Discord implies an intrinsic or essential lack of harmony producing quarrelling, factiousness, or antagonism.

This spirit has already infiltrated the church and attacked the harmony, unity and agreement of God’s people. This spirit is dividing the church and a house divided can not stand.

Stop criticising and putting each down other. Stop looking for every tiny little fault in a person. Remember to pull the log out of your own eye before plucking the speck out of their’s and people in glass houses shouldn’t be throwing stones.

Satan is called the accuser of the brethren stop doing his job for him.

I believe what happened when a group of believers got together in an upper room and were in ONE ACCORD can still happen today. A supernatural outpouring of Gods spirit that will affect the world will happen once again. Do you believe it can?

SEEK THE GOD OF PEACE FOR YOUR PEACE THIS YEAR

With so many people suffering from depression, anxiety and fear some psychologists have been fully booked for 4-5 months.

Since mid-March to the beginning of September 2020, Australians have accessed 5,774,696 mental health services funded by Medicare. Research showed up to 80 per cent of people felt their mental health had been affected by the coronavirus pandemic, causing them to consider seeking care. (ABC.net 3/9/20)

The word ‘peace’ in some form or another is mentioned around 420 times in the Bible.

In the Old Testament it's the Hebrew word ‘shalom’ which means - peace, health and prosperity. Here’s just a few examples....

Psalms 4-8 shalom

Psalms 34-14 shalom

Psalms 119-165 shalom

Isaiah 26:3-4 perfect shalom

In the New Testament it’s the Greek word ‘eirene’ (eh-ray-nay) which means - peace, prosperity, quietness, rest and to be SET at one again. RESET! This Greek word probably has more to do with ourselves, our inner peace.

John 14-27

Romans 15:32-33

Romans 16-20 the God of quietness and rest will crush satan under your feet!

Galatians 5-22 peace is a fruit of the Spirit.

Colossians 3-15 let the peace of God rule/umpire our hearts.

2 Thessalonians 3-16 the Lord of peace give you peace at all times and in all ways.

Philippians 4:4-7

4 Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! 5 Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. 6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

The key in this scripture is that this peace comes as a result of an action: Prayer. When we petition God, that means when we go to Him with our requests, worries, cares, and concerns. Not only does He hear us, but He gives us a peaceful, easy feeling in return because we’ve dealt with the problem correctly by giving it over to Him the only one who can do anything about it.
